What another one? Oh, blog off!
Another bunch of know-it-alls who expect me to listen to their non-sensical ramblings and treat them like a group of great modern-day sages.
If this is your immediate reaction to news of the launch of the Herald's new newsroom blog then I have to say I forgive you such cynicism.
There are too many dull, rambling, ranty blogs out there and a ridiculous number of people who believe all the world's ills would be solved if only we listened to them.
We can assure you that won't be the tone of this offering.
We are journalists after all. If we had the answer to every problem, we'd be out there solving them instead of reporting on them, surely?
No, it is our job to give you the facts, to stir up the debate and get you talking to us about your communities, your lives.
And just because we have this blog as a new means of communicating with you, that will not change.
Sometimes we will be serious, sometimes we will try to have some fun, but the whole point of us writing this blog is to interact with you.
One blog may be about school closures, council tax or anti-social behaviour. The next may be about one of our reporter's favourite local bands or the editor's recommended mountainside walks.
In fact, to get a discussion started I'll be drip-feeding you my top-10 Gwynedd landmarks in the weeks to come in the hope your top-10s will follow.
And don't expect the top-10s to stop after that because I intend to bore you silly with them.
However, all this will be pointless if we don't get a response from you.
If you don't engage with the debate - whether that's about struggling neighbourhoods or our favourite pubs - we're wasting our breath.
We'll kick things off here but this blog is all about the reaction.
Make sure you take advantage and have your say.

Just typical of Paul Scott to Blag (I mean Blog) his way into another annoying item in his career. Paul is obviously playing catchup with other websites. Desperate comes to mind.
Paul's reply: Good to see I've still got my fans. Maybe it's time to pack my trunk and say goodbye to the circus!

Now I wouldn't have put that in the first posting! I think I might have left that one for the second or third posting just to give myself a chance...
